Lost Coastlines #5

Canon EOS 5D, 28 mm, 118 sec, f 7.1, 50

Yesterday, I woke up at 3am and drove 115 miles south to Ocean City, NJ specifically to photograph this old, broken pier. I love things that are old, and I love all things nautical, so this particular pier drew a lot of interest from me. Being there, you could tell there was a lot of history here, I imagine there are people who have a lot of interesting memories or stories about the location. I had seen some other photos of the structure on Flickr, and I have been wanting to try my hand at it for some time now. I'm very happy with the result, and have more images to post from this trip over the next week or so.
