Sunset Beach, shot a very cold and very rainy day in February 2008.
In all my life I don't believe I've ever seen one of these beach fences in good condition. They are always broken, crooked, weathered, or just plain missing. Life by the sea is tough business - salty air, strong winds, sea birds, foot traffic, etc. I suppose that's the price you pay for such a front row seat.
